Drywall Installer
You will measure, cut and hang gypsum board on walls, ceilings and bulkheads across homes, renovations and full commercial floorplates. Straight lines, tight joints and clean cut-outs — the wall you hang decides how much work the finisher behind you has to do.
What you will do
Measure, cut and hang board to walls, ceilings and bulkheads
Work from drawings and check framing and backing before boarding
Cut clean openings for lights, boxes, vents and access hatches
Plan joints so seams fall where they finish cleanest
Keep the work area tidy and material stocked ahead of the crew
What we are looking for
Previous drywall installation experience on residential or commercial sites
Comfortable working from scaffold, stilts and lifts at height
Own hand tools and reliable transport to sites across HRM
Able to read a tape accurately and work to a schedule
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Nice to have
WHMIS certification
Fall Protection ticket
Experience with panel lifts and screw guns
