Commercial Drywall · Nova Scotia · Since 2014
902 Drywall Ltd. is a residential and commercial drywall contractor in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Installation, taping and Level 5 finishing for hotels, high-rise residential and institutional builds — delivered on your critical path, with a punch list you can actually close.
Who we are
We are a residential and commercial drywall installation and finishing contractor based in Dartmouth, working across Nova Scotia. For over eleven years we have boarded and finished hotels, high-rise towers, commercial fit-outs and homes — the kind of work where a schedule slip costs real money and a long deficiency list costs a relationship.
Drywall sits at the pinch point of a build. Everything behind us waits on us. So we size our crews to your dates, we plan our joints where they finish cleanest, and we walk every floor under raking light before we call it done.
Because our focus is quality — it is on the business card for a reason.

What we do
From the first sheet through to the final coat, we self-perform the whole wall — on a single home renovation or a full commercial floorplate. One trade, one schedule, one point of accountability.
The difference
Drag the handle. On the left is what a standard Level 4 finish does when hard light rakes across it — every seam and fastener telegraphs through the paint. On the right is a Level 5 skim coat: one continuous plane, no shadows, nothing to find.

How we work
No surprises, no invented change orders. You know exactly what happens, in what order, and who is accountable at every stage.
Send us the architecturals and the spec. We do a full quantity takeoff, flag assembly conflicts we find in the drawings, and come back with a line-item price you can actually compare.
We map our crew size against your close-in dates and the trades stacked behind us, then commit to a sequence in writing before mobilization.
Before a sheet goes up we walk the framing against the drawings, confirm backing and blocking are where the finishes need them, and flag anything that would trap a problem behind the board.
Board goes up floor by floor with sheets cut tight to the opening, fastener spacing checked, and joints planned to fall where they finish cleanest.
Taped, coated and sanded to the specified GA-214 level using dust-controlled systems, so the trades working behind us are not fighting our dust.
Before we call a floor complete, we walk it under raking light with your superintendent and correct anything that shows. You inherit a short list, not a long one.

Why contractors call us back
Anyone can quote a square footage rate. What you are actually buying is whether the crew shows up, whether the wall is straight when the light hits it, and whether the punch list is short. Here is what we hold ourselves to.
Full Workers' Compensation Board coverage and liability insurance. Certificates go to your office before we set foot on your site — no chasing paperwork at close-in.
Drywall sits between close-in and every finishing trade behind you. We size crews to hit your dates, and we tell you early if a date is at risk instead of the week it slips.
Anyone can hang board. We walk every wall under raking light before handover, because a short punch list is worth more to you than a fast rough-in.
You deal directly with Mohit, not a rotating list of coordinators. Decisions get made on the phone the same day you call.
Where we work
Our base is Dartmouth and most of our work sits inside the Halifax Regional Municipality — but we travel for commercial projects. If your site is in the province, we will price it and we will show up.

From the site
“They boarded four floors ahead of our close-in date and the punch list came back nearly empty. That almost never happens on a build this size.”
